Accessibility for people with reduced mobility

A temporary accident, reduced mobility due to age or permanent disability need not deprive you of a vacation. We’ll do our utmost to ensure your comfort and inform you about accessible activities.

Customized services

The team is on hand to help the less able with various tasks: bistro orders delivered to the chalet, laundry help, transport to the chalet, adapted tourist information.

Ramps provide access to the Bistrot, Reception, Toy Library, Dining Room and panoramic terrace. PRM sanitary facilities are available next to the Bistrot.

We also rely on the services of disabled people to maintain our green spaces, which are provided by the ESAT (Etablissement et service d’aide par le travail de personnes en situation de handicap) in Montsauche-les-Settons.

Article 2 of law no. 2005-102 of February 11, 2005 All disabled people are entitled to the solidarity of the entire national community, which guarantees them, by virtue of this obligation, access to the fundamental rights recognized to all citizens, as well as the full exercise of their citizenship.

The ” Papillon ” and ” Libellule ” chalets are suitable for people with reduced mobility.

They are ideally located on the lakefront, close to the common infrastructure, near the entrance, and with dedicated parking just a few steps from the residence.

Access ramp, adapted circulation space in the living room and large bathroom.

Accessibility for your leisure activities

  • Some trails are accessible with a joelette (wheelchair with a single wheel): the tour of Lac des Settons, the Etang du Taureau trail (St Brisson), the Grands Prés discovery trail (Saint-Agnan), etc.

  • Two climbing routes are open to the visually impaired at La Roche du chien (Saint-Brisson). Thanks to an innovative “No Eyes Climbing” system, climbers are warned of the presence of a hand or foot hold by an audible signal. The sound signal is emitted by a bracelet worn on the wrists and ankles, which detects the presence of transmitters installed in the walls.

  • Perfectly accessible museums, including Bibracte (Mont Beuvray) for the mentally and hearing impaired, and the MuséoParc d’Alésia (Alise-Sainte-Reine) adapted for the mentally, physically, visually and hearing impaired (free access).

  • Adapted equipment pool: the Parc du Morvan provides equipment for natural activities and leisure activities such as hiking, fishing, all-terrain wheelchair descents and sensory climbing (climbing bracelets, “buggy bike” downhill wheelchairs, “hippocampe” bathing wheelchair, all-terrain modules adaptable to all wheelchairs and able to ride on unpaved paths, electrically-assisted hand-bike and “boma” all-terrain electric vehicle). Contact the Maison du Tourisme du Parc du Morvan (Saint-Brisson). Activital (Rive droite lac des Settons) also offers a “lomo hand-bike” and an adapted bathing chair.
